A. For maximum range keep the base antennas free of any obstruction. Whilst the W-SoHo system range meets and often exceeds that of other DECT devices, it is important to note that range can vary according to environmental. As with any radio technology, reception distance, quality and performance are subject to local environmental issues such as shielding, concrete, metal, electrical interference from power transmission, trains/trams for example.

Q. When would I need to de-register as hand set?
A. The base station is capable of working with up to 7 registered wireless key set and handsets. If you are changing or replacing one handset, you must de-register the set from at the Base Station otherwise the system will assume the set is still in use, you will also be unable to re-use the extension number.

Q. I am using ADSL for one of my lines, how does this work?
A. It is important to note which of the lines coming in to your property has ADSL. This line will have a phone filter attached to the output,

Q. I have no dial tone on one or more of my lines. (Silence)
A. Unplug the W-SOHO and check that dial tone is present at the socket on the wall. If it is then check the cable to the W-SOHO is correctly plugged in to the W-SOHO base station. If no dial tone is present contact your service provider.
Check to see that the base is connected to the main power and the battery is installed.
